Welcome back to Rachel’s Back Talk! Another Friday interview! Today’s interview is with Carrie Turanksy. This past Monday, I had the opportunity to review her book The Governess of Highland Hall. So without further ado, on to Rachel’s Back Talk – Special Edition!  Interview: RR: Hi Carrie! Thanks so much for being here with me today. To start off today’s interview, could you tell us when you knew you wanted to be a writer. CT: I’ve always loved to read and wrote my first book, by hand, at age 12. But after that I followed my interest in art and graduated with a BA in Fine Art. I homeschooled my five children and we read a lot of historical fiction aloud. “The Governess of Highland Hall” Book Review...

Welcome back to Rachel’s Back Talk! I’m so glad you could join me again. Today I am reviewing Carrie Turansky’s novel, The Governess of Highland Hall. This was my first book that I read of Carrie’s and it was even more enjoyable after meeting Carrie in person!   As is my custom, if I could ask Carrie one question about The Governess of Highland Hall, it would be — “Why did you decide to write a book with a Downton Abbey/Jane Eyre feel to it?” And if you want to know why I asked that question, I guess you’ll just have to read the book to find out!   And without further ado, onto Rachel’s Back Talk!
